Ormeggio at The Spit, one of Australia’s most progressive Italian restaurants has relaunched as a buzzy Italian seafood restaurant with a beautiful cocktail and gelato bar centre stage. Chef Alessandro, Victor and team have completely reinvented themselves. Expect high quality sustainable seafood, great cocktails, some very fun desserts and those same knockout water views. Ormeggio 2.0’s menu is completely meat-free, a la carte seafood menu, complimented with a regularly changing ‘chefs picks’ sharing menu. There are some new and creative dishes such as a tuna ‘cotoletta’, crudo crostini, incredible Pavoni risotto, and don’t forget the ‘coppa gelato’. The full restaurant can accommodate a maximum of 90 guests seated or 100 guests for canapé/cocktail style function, which includes 36 on the Deck and 60 in the Dining Room
