The historic crypt and garden inside St James' Church on Macquarie Street has become a cafe, Jardin St James. The church, designed by convict artist Francis Greenway is the oldest working church in the country. Created by Bill Drakopoulos, the restaurateur behind LuMi, Aqua Dining and Ripples. Exclusive events for up to 120 guests can take place in the unique crypt and garden spaces Monday to Saturday. You can choose from a premium and substantial menu of small and large canapés. Beverage packages are available for the event duration or alternatively Jardin St. James accept BYO of champagne, wine and beer for events
