THE ALBERT CHAPMAN room is a contemporary gallery overlooking the Atrium. Stunning precious and semi-precious stones collected from around the world glitter from displays in the sweeping walls.

THE ATRIUM'S honey-coloured sandstone walls rise to a glass roof 20 metres above the floor. The stunning ambient light captured through the roof is replaced at night by dramatic uplighting. The Atrium and Foyer can be hired together to give extra capacity. Maximum capacity for coctail function is 300.

THE FOYER is the best known part of the original Museum building. High windows surround a spacious café area, and square columns support a high colonial style ceiling. The Atrium and Foyer can be hired together for a function to give extra capacity. Maximum capacity for a cocktails party is 300.

THE SKELETON GALLERY is located in the original part of the Museum. It is a double height space overlooked by first and second floor mezzanines occupying a traditional space of dark timber. Maximum capacity for a cocktail party is 120.

THE TERRACE gives stunning 180° panoramic views of Cook & Phillip Park and St Mary's Cathedral. A balcony running the full length of the room allows natural light in and gives a bird's eye view of the length of William Street, Hyde Park and the Woolloomooloo district. Maximum capacity for a cocktail party is 200.

THE THEATRETTE is a state of the art theatre in the original Museum building with comfortable tiered seating equipped with swing up desktops. A large screen allows for the projection of slides, videos or computer based presentations via a ceiling mounted projection unit.
