Neutral stone and timber finishes dominate Verandah’s elegant restaurant and wine bar, a high-ceiling, open-plan space filled with natural light and crisp white dining tables. Giant bi-fold windows retract to maximise the finance district surrounds, allowing diners to marvel at the sandstone buildings and goings-on of the central business district outside. An L-shaped wooden bar flanked by soft amethyst lighting creates the focal point in the main bar area, overlooked by sheer black lampshades and a collection of cocktail tables.

FUNCTION DETAILS
The Main Bar and Terrace area offers a unique indoors-to-outdoors feel in the heart of the CBD, and can host up to 100 guests for a cocktail function. Sections of the Terrace can also be cordoned off for smaller groups from minimum 30 guests. In the cocktail lounge, a tucked away, stage-side location with full audiovisual facilities provides the perfect setting for concerts and speeches as well as access to a private bar for up to 150 guests.  The Restaurant and Wine Bar is also available for functions. For cocktail parties, the space can accommodate up to 250 guests, while sit-down events are also possible for up to 130 guests. The restaurant also has a full entertainment license, so party planners have the option of including DJs, bands and performers during events. For larger events the entire Main Bar can be used for up to 550.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Head chef Jonathan Ingram, formerly of Level Forty One and Wildfire, extends his culinary skill into a range of modern Australian function menus. Canapés are offered in three different price categories, including the likes of roast capsicum and blue cheese tarts plus chilli salt prawns with wasabi mayonnaise. Party platters are also available for casual dining at smaller functions, and each include a selections of three different canapés.
