Spacious, elegant, beautifully appointed, the rooms and suites at The Observatory Hotel are designed to meet the needs of the most fastidious guest. The hotel offers 78 Deluxe rooms, 9 Junior Suites, 12 Executive Suites and the Observatory Suite, with some suites and rooms interconnecting. Four ground-floor rooms have been adapted for the convenience of disabled guests and the second floor, which is completely non-smoking, features duvets in each bedroom.

The polished mahogany armoire holds an individual CD, DVD and video player, as well as a stereo television set with 24-hour international news service. Tea and coffee-making facilities, along with a fully stocked mini-bar are discreetly enclosed in a mahogany buffet, while an in-room safe sits in the polished cedar wardrobe along with slippers, an umbrella and a selection of amenities.

Each room has a luxurious marble bathroom with an oversized bath, heated towel racks, separate bath and shower, double vanities, detachable hairdryers and fax/modem lines for high speed broadband internet access.

FUNCTIONS
Guests will feel at home in the intimate atmosphere of the Drawing Room, before sitting down to a magnificent lunch or dinner in The Cornwallis Suite, The Orient Room, or one of our Boardrooms. The beautifully appointed Cornwallis Suite is ideal for functions, meetings and weddings, and can comfortably accommodate up to 100 people. The Orient Room provides an exotic Oriental setting to enhance any function or meeting for up to 70 people. Boardrooms, which seat up to 10 people, are Comfortable and spacious with the added advantage of Natural light
