Taronga Centre Boardroom - Flooded with natural light and views onto the Taronga Zoo grounds, the Taronga Centre Boardroom can seat up to 18 delegates.
The Heritage Boardroom - Located in the heritage listed Taronga Zoo Main Entrance building, the Heritage Boardroom has timber floors and high ceilings, and opens out onto a private balcony overlooking the Taronga Zoo Top Plaza. The fresh, modern furniture accommodates up to 13 delegates boardroom style and 40 for cocktails.
Harbourview Garden Court - located in the Zoo grounds, the court is an elegant venue, perfect for wedding ceremonies or intimate dinner parties. Surrounded by a private courtyard and well established gardens this space also includes roller blinds for weather protection, outdoor audio system, controlled lighting and polished timber floors. It holds 60 guests banquet style and 100 for cocktails.
The Harbourview Terrace – a versatile space, perfect for dinners, cocktail soirees, conferences, weddings and award dinners. It boasts 180 degree views of Sydney Harbour. There is a private bar and balcony, internal sound system, and room partitions if required. It accommodates 150 guests banquet style and up to 300 for cocktails.
The Harbourview Ballroom - also boasts 180 degrees of breath taking views. With the ability to partition off 1/3 of the venue, the Ballroom is flexible and is ideal for cocktail parties, workshops, gala dinners or buffets. It holds 250 people banquet style including a dance floor and 400 for a standing event.
Café Harbourview - Overlooking the Concert Lawns of Taronga Zoo, Café Harbourview offers a picturesque setting for smaller functions. Café by day, this space has the ability to convert into a stunning venue space for 60 banquet style or 100 for cocktails.
Taronga Food Market - This purpose built dining facility overlooks the famous Thai Elephant enclosure. It boasts oriental dark woods and high exposed ceilings. Seating up to 450 for dinners or 600 for cocktail parties.
Taronga Zoo Top Plaza – as the hub of the Zoo that includes the iconic heritage building, a Zoo retail shop, top café and plenty of seating, this space is perfect for arrival drinks or cocktail events for up to 600
ANZ Lecture Theatre - Overlooking the Cotton Top monkey enclosure, the ANZ Lecture Theatre is located at the Top Entrance of the Zoo and houses both a lecture theatre for 300 guests and foyer area with the capacity to seat up to 80 guests. Perfect for conferences with a break out space, presentation or workshops.
Concert Lawns - The home of the famous Twilight Concert Series and Oprah’s opening dinner of her Great Australian Adventure, the Concert Lawns are the biggest lawn space within the Zoo grounds and located close to the Backyard to Bush exhibit on the eastern side of the Zoo. With a stunning Sydney backdrop these lawns accommodate up to 4000 for a family day or approx 350 in a marquee structure. The Zoo also has 2 other lawn precincts – the Condor and Soden lawns.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Restaurant Associates is the fine dining and boutique banqueting division of the Compass Group and the exclusive caterer’s onsite at Taronga Zoo. They provide inspired, Modern Australian menus, professional staff, and this combined with the beautiful setting that is Taronga Zoo makes for a fabulous culinary experience. Leading celebrity chef and Restaurant Associates Ambassador Sean Connolly is working with RA’s Executive Chef Sebastian Letaud who came across to RA from Bistro Felix. They have created a great range of food options, which include canapés, set meals and buffet style choices, as well as morning/afternoon tea and working lunch options for business affairs.
The Habourview Garden Court in the Zoo grounds is the primary wedding ceremony venue, surrounded by a private courtyard and well established gardens. It can accommodate 40 guests seated or 60 standing undercover with additional outdoor space for a total of 100 guests. With beautiful views over Sydney harbour, The Garden Court area can be themed to match any colour choices you may have for your wedding. Liron Mynhardt will personally assist you through all of your wedding preparations as the specially appointed wedding co-ordinator of the Taronga Centre.
