Two areas are available for corporate, group and private functions with a range of services to suit all budgets.and every budget. From casual relaxed affairs to tasting plates of finger food on arrival to marquees with waiter service.
FUNCTION SITES
Two areas are available for corporate, group and private functions. For groups of 30 people or more, our exclusive use event area is set in an idyllic location at the northern end of Market with wonderful views overlooking Mindil Beach. Away from the hustle & bustle yet close enough to enjoy the ambience of the market. This area can accommodate marquees, entertainment, corporate banners etc. Smaller groups can opt for this exclusive use event area or decide to join the locals who set up their own gear in the Foreshore area. The foreshore area offers clear views of the sunset and access to everything the market has to offer.Rectangle trestle tables seat 8-10 people depending on set up design.Paper tablecloths and table candles are supplied at no extra cost.Linen tablecloths and chair covers are available on request at an additional cost.
FOOD
Your guests will be spoilt for choice with cuisine from over 20 countries to choose from.To get the evening started why not let our staff organise tasting plates on arrival of some of Mindil’s signature dishes, including pawpaw salad, crocodile sate, curry puffs, beef rendang to name a few.
MINDIL MONEY
Mindil Money is a great idea if you want to cover the cost of your group’s dinner yet letting them to choose what they want. Mindil Money comes in denominations of $1 $2 $5 $10 notes. Books can be made up to any amounts
To cover printing and administration the books are invoiced at $1.15 per $1.00 Mindil Money i.e. $10.00 book will be invoiced at $11.50.
DRINKS
Mindil Beach Sunset Market is a BYO event. They can offer your guests a variety of options for drinks and alcohol, either organise an esky of drinks for self service or set up a bar with bar service.
ENTERTAINMENT
A plethora of entertainment is to be found (or heard) throughout the market from live bands, street performers and buskers. A range of various entertainers such as fire performers, whip cracking displays, cultural dancers to come down to your exclusive are to entertain your guests can be arranged.
