Following the completion of a recent $45 million redevelopment, Grand Hyatt Melbourne brings a new centre of luxury to Collins St. The hotel now includes spectacular upper and lower lobbies, a new restaurant, Collins Kitchen and new bar, RU-CO, as well as a luxury retail precinct.
The hotel features a range of versatile function spaces, including Australia’s latest events concept, the residence. A dedicated Events Team provide outstanding service to both small and large groups, and the hotel’s banquet and meeting facilities can accommodate groups of 12 up to 1500.

FUNCTION SPACES

THE RESIDENCE is the first event venue of its kind in Australia. A private mansion concept with home style service, the residence offers guests the feeling of attending an event in a good friend’s home.
The residence includes four individually-styled rooms - the Courtyard, Verandah, Wine Room and Library, all serviced by an open kitchen, where guests can interact with the chefs preparing the food. All rooms enjoy an abundance of natural light, including the Courtyard with an atrium ceiling, and stunning views of Collins St.

The hotel also includes the elegant Savoy Ballroom and the versatile Mayfair ballroom.

ACCOMODATION
Grand Hyatt Melbourne’s 546 guestrooms are currently undergoing a complete interior redesign, with the hotels premium suites, Grand Club Lounge and Club floors now complete. All rooms will be complete by 2011. The complete interior redesign includes an update of the carpets, drapery and furniture. All guestrooms include LCD flat screen televisions and wireless Internet access in all rooms.
