Brisbane Powerhouse is a contemporary multi-arts, dining, functions and conference centre that has become a distinct hub for theatrical, artistic and musical activity. The industrial inspired aesthetic is well suited to the versatile meeting and performance spaces including the Powerhouse Theatre, Visy Theatre and Turbine Platform. Brisbane Powerhouse has two restaurants available on site - Bar Alto and Watt Restaurant & Bar, offering innovative Italian and Modern Australian cuisine respectively, both in relaxed environments.

FUNCTION DETAILS
Rooftop Terrace – premier event space with large indoor area and adjoining deck. Accommodates 140 cocktail style, 100 theatre style and 80 for dining. The covered deck is well suited for break-outs or pre-dinner cocktails.

Riverbend Terrace - Spacious covered deck with magnificent river outlook. Outdoor space suitable for private parties, launches or intimate receptions of up to 40 banquet style, and 75 for cocktails.

Park Mezzanine - An intimate meeting room with beautiful views of New Farm Park. Ideal for interval drinks, meetings and training sessions of up to 25 banquet style or 40 standing.

Graffiti Room - An intimate meeting room with unique graffitied walls and capacity of 25, located near the Turbine Hall. Ideal for interval drinks, meetings and training sessions for 15 boardroom style.

Performance Lawn - A beautiful and private location within the Powerhouse precinct, the Performance Lawn has level ground and accommodates large marquees.

Turbine Platform - Large cathedral-like space with stage platform, adjacent to main foyer and Bar Alto. Well-suited to product launches, performances, art installations and music events.

Powerhouse Theatre - Contemporary studio-style theatre providing a flexible performance space seating up to 525. It has various seating configurations allowing for end stage, theatre in the round, cabaret and a number of other permutations, as well as a variety of seating formats from raked seating to banquet mode. Suitable for public lectures, seminars, conferences, cabaret dinners and large banquets.

Visy Theatre - Intimate thrust-stage theatre, seats 200 for performances. Dramatically framed by the columns from the original building, the Visy Theatre provides an ideal venue for intimate performances, presentations, film screenings, forums, readings and meetings.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Brisbane Powerhouse’s catering partner Zen Catering has a range of corporate, private, and wedding food and beverage packages to suit cocktail style and seated events. The food is distinctly Modern Australia and features canapés like crispy Bangalow pork belly with apple and thyme sauce and rillettes of slow cooked duck en croute with pickled cornichon salad. Buffet options come in BBQ and Mediterranean styles and there are also fine dining alternatives. Feast on an entree of sugar cured Atlantic salmon with potato-dill croquette and celeriac rémoulade, followed by a main meal of roasted double lamb cutlet with smoked eggplant purée, confit potato and cumin yoghurt. Top off the evening with a decadent slice of flourless chocolate cake, accompanied by crème Chantilly and Valrhona chocolate sauce.

WEDDINGS
This unique venue offers endless possibilities for wedding celebrations with select spaces to host both ceremonies and receptions. The performance lawn is beautiful for an outdoor wedding whilst the rooftop terrace is an elegant indoor reception venue with an adjoining deck for pre and post dinner drinks. There is a number of wedding menu options to suit different sized functions of varying time frames.
