Established in 1976, Petaluma has unlocked the great potential of Riesling from the Hanlin Hill Vineyard in Clare, pioneered the Piccadilly Valley and Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills and cemented the pedigree of the Evans Vineyard in Coonawarra, South Australia. Winemaker Andrew Hardy and the Petaluma team firmly adhere to the tenet that if the vineyards are great, and the winemaking responsive, the wines will be outstanding. Indeed, Andrew sees his role as ‘custodian of the vineyards’. Wines released under the Petaluma label focus on a commitment to winemaking evolution and refinement. The Bridgewater Mill and Croser wines showcase the best of the Adelaide Hills vineyards.
The venue boasts an atmospheric and alluring backdrop for intimate wedding celebrations, product launches, award nights or corporate events. The restored Granary of the old flourmill at Bridgewater Mill accommodates up to 140 people and the elevated stage and baby grand piano are ideal for musical performances; contemporary, jazz or classical. Available for private use, the open-air deck overlooking the water wheel and the gardens below is a charming setting for pre-dinner drinks and memorable photographs.

Petaluma's Bridgewater Mill restaurant is housed in the historic 1860s flour mill alongside Petaluma's Cellar Door. Quintessentially Adelaide Hills, in the summer you can enjoy a regionally inspired menu on the deck or in winter next to the open fire. Head Chef Zac Ronayne leads the restaurant team creating dishes inspired by a mix of multicultural experiences - Japanese, French, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean - all elegantly matched with the estates award-winning wines. Open daily for lunch from 12pm or events by arrangement. On Sundays and Public Holidays, enjoy a lovely set menu for $90 per person for three courses.
