Located in the iconic red sand hills and brilliant colours of the Outback, Alice Springs Convention Centre is an ideal and unique location for conferences, exhibitions, and a wide range of special events. The Alice Springs Convention Centre has been purpose built, located very conveniently within the township, to cater for groups as small as 10 guests, up to exhibitions with as many as 3,000 visitors.
Opened in 2002, the centre features an abundance of natural light and spectacular views of the Macdonnell Ranges, boasts state of the art facilities and provides all the little extras you need to make your event seamless and impressive.
FUNCTION ROOMS
The Alice Springs Convention Centre caters for groups ranging from meetings of 10 people through to conferences of 1,200 delegates and exhibitions involving up to 3,000 visitors. The numerous functions spaces can be rapidly reconfigured, to cater for different events, exhibitions or workshops during a conference or to cater for smaller, more intimate gatherings.
THE ELLERY ROOM- Depending on the nature of the function, The Ellery Room can also
be divided into two (half) or four rooms (quarter) for smaller groups
and functions.
MACDONNELL ROOM- The largest room in the Centre, The Macdonnell Room can be divided
into two separate rooms for greater flexibility, and also has large
vehicle access doors.
GHAN FOYER- This area is idea for use as a registration area for events, and
as it also looks out into the courtyard, can be utilised for pre-dinner
drinks, cocktail receptions and small intimate dinners.
COURTYARD- The courtyard faces the ranges, offering a spectacular setting for
outdoor functions of up to 200 people and can also be utilised for
conference catering.
BOARDROOMS- The Centre boasts three separate boardrooms designed with state of the art audio visual functionality.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
The Alice Springs Convention Centre has a range of menus available that have been designed by a skilled culinary team, that not only reflect today’s modern cuisine, but also capture the essence of this unique location by incorporating indigenous ingredients.
EXHIBITIONS
The Alice Springs Convention Centre has can also cater for exhibitions. The exhibition space has been built on one level to enable easy access by exhibitors and delegates alike.

Located adjacent to the Alice Springs Convention Centre is its sister property, Lasseters Hotel Casino with 140 rooms, including 13 elegantly appointed suites. There is also an abundance of accommodation in Alice Springs, ranging from budget through to 4.5 star hotels. The majority of 3 – 4.5 star hotels are within walking distance from the Alice Springs Convention Centre.
